This set of three Aknicare® products is designed to be used to maintain spot-free skin once the core products have delivered a spot-free skin for 2 to 4 weeks. There is no limit to how long this set can be used for; and as skin sensitivity to acne can range from 6 months to 60 years with an average of 6 to 8 years then this is ideal to maintain a spot free skin.
Aknicare® Gentle Cleansing Gel (formally called Remover) will cleanse and tone your skin while keeping excessive skin build up in-check by creates conditions in the skin which slow cell turnover and reduce keratin build up. It also contains a calming and soothing agents. The Gentle Cleansing Gel (formally called Remover) is not exfoliating and cleanses with minimal irritation using glucose and silicon-based cleansing agents. If you would prefer the exfoliating Aknicare® Cleansing Wash then this is also available as a selection in the shop.
Aknicare® Cream maintains skin moisture levels but also contains an antibacterial and a key ingredient which alters the skin's environment so that oil production levels are maintained while continuing to supplement skin fatty acid levels and keep acne triggers reduced locally in the skin. This key product should be enough for maintenance of acne free skin but if acne starts to return then you will need to add in Aknicare® Lotion.
The Aknicare® Skin Roller can be used on any occasional spots that might still come up to reduce them quickly. The Skin Roller contains all the ingredients in Aknicare® Lotion but also contains extra calming and soothing agents to reduce a spot fast.
