Fillast® Flash - The Active Ingredients
Fillast® Flash is based on the association of two amino acids, Arginine and Taurine.
Arginine and taurine are normally contained in food and can be synthesised in the body cells trough specific biochemical pathways, for this reason they are considered as non essential amino acid.
Taurine can be created by the body from the amino acids methionine and cysteine (with vitamin B6). The role of Taurine in the body includes production of bile acids, cell membrane stabilisation, cell water regulation and control of cellular calcium levels.
Arginine is a semi-essential basic amino acid which is produced in the body by adults and obtained through food in infants, as they cannot produce it themselves. It has a number of functions in the body such as assisting in wound healing, hormone production, immune function and removal of excess ammonia and increase urea synthesis.
Fillast® Flash - Mechanism of Action
The general mechanism of action can be divided in two different parts:
1. Chemical and 2. Biochemical
1. Chemical effect
Arginine and Taurine interacts chemically with keratin filaments of the horny layer

2. Biochemical Effect
Arginine and Taurine exerts a synergistic effect that increases endogenous synthesis urea and balances the osmolarity of keratinocytes

FILLAST Flash exerts an immediate “lifting” effect.
This effect lasts for about 4-6 hours.
2 minutes after application, there will be a sensation of tension, the skin becomes more bright, vivid and smooth. The fine lines become less evident and the general appearance visibly improves.
