TERPROLINE®

acne scarring skin damage

Terproline® is a group of products designed to prepare skin and promote recovery from numerous dermatological procedures. It was first used in burns units to help people recover from hypertrophic scars with remarkable results. The ingredients stimulate fibroblast activity, while providing the raw materials for new collagen and elastin.

Terproline® improves the elasticity and extensibility of the skin, modulating the process of tissue repair. It inhibits the formation of scar tissue, promoting faster, more uniform healing and recovery.

Terproline® was researched and used by cosmetic and plastic surgeons to speed recovery, improve operation scars and to help reduce keloids and hypertrophic scarring.

More recently Terproline® has clinically demonstrated reduced reddening and discomfort following laser resurfacing where it greatly reduced skin recovery time from 10 weeks to 3 weeks. It is used before and after many cosmetic procedures which may cause skin trauma including injections (Botox, fillers), peels and lasers due to its protective and recuperative properties.

Terproline® has remarkable properties in promoting a much better response from rejuvenation procedures, reducing complications and sustaining results for longer by increasing collagen and elastin development. Use in conjunction with Fillast® to achieve a high hyaluronic acid environment by promoting a more youthful Collagen Type-III environment.
