Dehydration and Lipid Density Management - Overview
Maintaining and enhancing the epidermal basal layer (stratum basale) which produces new skin cells requires a constant supply of lipids. Many skin types would benefit from greater lipid density and various skin conditions can be improved by ceramide boosting. Ceramides are the key building blocks for lipid manufacture.
