Rejuvenation - Overview
Skin rejuvenation procedures aim to stimulate skin remodelling processes; inducing fibroblasts to produce new fibres of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid while also activating enzymes to degrade the old skin fibrous matrix. Traditionally, to do this, surface trauma is created to disrupt the upper skin releasing inflammatory skin chemicals which trigger erythema but also stimulate deeper skin remodelling activity.
The problem is that the degree of surface trauma becomes the limiting factor in terms of pain, skin peeling, frosting and client downtime; whether from chemical peels, laser resurfacing or physical techniques such as microdermabrasion or dermaroller use. Physical techniques by their very nature cause high levels of surface trauma.
Erythema and frosting have traditionally been thought of as a measure of the power of a treatment; but if you could stimulate increased skin remodelling (deeper effects) and reduce surface trauma then erythema and frosting become much more a measure of side effects. Physical techniques especially cause high surface trauma, whereas the latest peel technology means that it’s possible to shift the balance away from surface effects and towards deeper activity.

ENERPEEL®
Exfoliation, Encouraging Repair and Rejuvenation
Enerpeel® technology is a new, patented carrier solution which restrains the acids activity until it is absorbed. This is not buffering the acid and thereby reducing its activity; it is restraining it and then releasing it to accelerate through the skin, enhancing its activity.

Enerpeel® Neck is based upon Pyruvic Acid & Lactic Acid and is indicated for use on the neck, chest and decollete to improve the appearance of age-related imperfections. One of the ingredients of Fillast®, acetyl glucosamine is also present in the solution to help increase the levels of hyaluronic acid in the skin, to provide a marked plumping effect.
Enerpeel® TCA - the most effective skin remodelling solution in the Enerpeel® range - is available in two different versions 25% (which provides medium-depth remodelling) and 40% (which offers the deepest -and therefore most profound - remodelling). An Enerpeel® TCA will improve colour, freshness, texture, skin tone, and fine wrinkles. It will also help to remove superficial discoloration, such as age spots.

FILLAST®
Promotes Hyaluronic Acid Manufacture, For Hydration, Filling & Healing
Fillast® is a range of serums and creams which contain the key active ingredients for supplementing, protecting and increasing skin synthesis of hyaluronic acid. These ingredients include aceytl glucosamine and glucuronic acid (the building blocks of hyaluronic acid); fucose (which speeds up the manufacture of hyaluronic acid and prevents its destruction - this is why Fillast® is also sold by injectable filler companies) and hyaluronic acid itself (provides plumping to the epidermal layer of the skin). TERPROLINE®
Skin Healing, Recovery and Scar Prevention
Collagen and Elastin are two key structural molecular chains produced by fibroblasts. Collagen in younger skin is shorter chain and more fluid and is known as Collagen Type-III. Over time as skin hyaluronic acid levels decrease, it reaches a level where collagen fibre binding accelerates and you get a much higher proportion of collagen as more rigid, thicker, less elastic fibres known as Collagen Type-I. Elastin levels also reduce in conjunction with collagen change leading to less elastic skin.
Fibroblasts slow down over time and so production of collagen and elastin is compromised, resulting in decreased skin quality, sagging and aging. Boosting fibroblast activity and supplying raw materials in a form fibroblasts can use to make new collagen and elastin is critical is slowing the aging process. Stimulating this fibroblast activity in a high hyaluronic acid environment will also encourage the collagen produced to remain as Type-III, achieved by using Fillast®.
The ingredients in Terproline® stimulate fibroblast activity, while providing the raw materials for new collagen and elastin. Terproline® has been used successfully in the healing of third degree burns, surgical procedures and in the management of scars.
