Nozone - Respiratory Relief
A National Asthma Campaign member's survey found that 81% of people with asthma believed that pollution worsens their asthma. It actually alters respiratory mechanisms, sets up inflammation of the airways, promotes allergen-induced sensitivity and aggravates asthma attacks.
Many countries are becoming increasingly aware of the dangers to health posed by air pollution, to which ozone is considered to be the biggest contributor.
Ozone in the stratosphere, 25 miles high, protects you from the sun's ultra violet rays, but at ground level ozone is dangerous. It occurs when the UV rays in sunlight react with vehicle and industrial emissions to form what we know as smog or traffic pollution. This gas enters our homes, our workplaces and cars and harms our health. Ozone is also caused by electrical discharges from high voltage equipment like photocopiers, fax machines, scanners and computers.
The impact on human health
Ozone is formed when ultra violet rays in sunlight react with vehicle and industrial emissions. It acts on the mucous membranes, which line the respiratory tract and the lungs, where it can cause irritation and inflammation.
The risk is most severe for sensitive groups; young children whose tissues are still growing and are more vulnerable, those with respiratory allergies such as asthma, those with respiratory complaints such as rhinitis, bronchitis or emphysema, the elderly for whom the temporary reduction in lung function associated with ozone can range from 'discomforting' to 'life threatening'. Even healthy adults can experience temporary reduction in lung function (up to 30%), coughing and throat irritation. The sensitisation of the respiratory tract by ozone can also exaggerate the symptoms of other allergies such as hay fever.
Current research suggests that permanent lung damage can occur as a result of prolonged exposure to ozone. Scientists also believe there is a link between levels of ozone and the increasing incidence of asthma and respiratory allergies.
The level of concern is growing and the use of air quality indices are common. Many environmental agencies now operate web sites showing daily air quality readings with maps colour coded on the scale shown below:
Nozone destroys ozone on contact
Nozone is a unique device, which eliminates ozone in confined spaces, thus reducing the impact of this dangerous pollutant on human health. It achieves this by the controlled release of a vapour based on a wholly natural essential oil. Derived from plants, for which ground level ozone is as dangerous as it is to us, this oil represents a defence mechanism evolved over millions of years.
The oil is contained in a proprietary membrane, which sits inside the Nozone housing. All that is required is for the housing to be rotated, the vents opened, and nature does the rest. Simple evaporation - nothing else. The Nozone vapour turns what is a dangerous gas into breathable oxygen.
Nozone is a totally natural product that benefits both us and the environment.
Using Nozone will not harm the ozone layer. It has no mechanical parts and
uses no electricity or gas - just state-of-the-art science to make your
life healthier.
This graph shows ozone levels in a room of 27 cubic metres (approximately 1,000 cubic feet) using an ozone generator and the resulting ozone levels with and without the use of Nozone.
Nozone is the only environmental antioxidant product available today. Nozone has no mechanical parts and uses no electricity or gas, just state-of-the-art science to make your life healthier.
Nozone was first patented in England and represents one man's quest to improve the life of his asthmatic daughter.
