“To treat pigmentation you must first understand it”
Peter Roberts, Managing Director & Head Trainer, SkinMed Ltd.
A Different Treatment Approach
Hyper-pigmentation exists in three forms, each of which requires it’s own form of treatment; Epidermal Mobile, Epidermal Fixed and Dermal Pigmentation. Most products only address Epidermal Mobile Pigmentation, but many patients often have multiple types, or pigmentation issues at different levels of the skin, meaning improvement by other methods is often only partial or minimal. SkinMed do things differently.
The Science and the Solution
Inflammation is a key trigger of hyperpigmentation, and inflamed blood vessels are often associated with pigmented areas, meaning any successful treatment needs to address this issue as well. Our pigmentation protocol is based on removing the inflammatory stimulus, normalising melanin production and creating a healthy skin environment.
Containing a unique combination of safe, effective ingredients, Tebiskin® LC has achieved fantastic results, with the vast majority of users seeing positive results in as little as four weeks. Clinical studies have shown Tebiskin® LC to have an equivalent effect of 4% hydroquinone, but with none of the associated side-effects, making it ideal for safely normalising and managing melanin production
The Complete Protocol
The Tebiskin® TripleLock® approach will work for the majority of cases of epidermal pigmentation, however, deeper, fixed pigmentation will need more advanced clinical solutions, including bespoke EnerPeel® treatments and micro-needling with the Derma FNS® Pen, forming the complete pigmentation protocol
